Bio: Oriana Bertoia is an agricultural biotechnologist with a PhD in “Agricultural, Forestry and Food Science”. After few years of research at the University, she started working in the Technology Transfer. Nowadays she is a Knowledge Transfer Manger at the University of Turin. She mainly deals with Intellectual Property protection strategies (in contract research and collaborative projects) and manages the patent portfolio of the University in terms of support for the filing, monitoring and exploitation of Intellectual Property. She also supports the creation of new and knowledge-intensive academic Start up and Spin off. She joined Knowledge Transfer world to support the change.
